Migration Permeability of Watercourses
Testing fish passage functionality, testing other barriers in watercourses, telemetry of aquatic animals
We test the functionality of fish passes and other technical structures (according to AOPK 2020 methodology). We carry out active and passive telemetry of aquatic animals. We design migration permeability solutions for fragmented watercourses. We address issues related to small hydroelectric power plants (SHP) in connection with fish migration. We provide biological and technical supervision during fish pass construction.
We use biotelemetric contactless methods enabling quantitative and qualitative assessment of migration permeability in accordance with modern knowledge and current standards. During fish pass monitoring we use real-time online data transmission, ensuring continuous control of recording devices.
